Jammu, Nov 20 (KNO): Players from around 25 States and the Union Territories are expected to participate in the upcoming Junior National Roller Ball Championship to be held at Maulana Azad Stadium here.
According to the details available with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) the event would commence from December 29, 2025 to January 1, 2026.
Pertinently, J&K had hosted the senior National and the North Zone Roller Ball Championship in 2023 and the upcoming competition will be the third national event to be hosted by the J&K Roll Ball Association in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council.
An official said that arrangements and preparations are being reviewed for the successful conduct of the prestigious event. “Besides Maulana Azad
Stadium one more venue will be selected for the championship,” he added.
Notably, the Roll Ball is a sport that has become popular in a short span in Jammu and Kashmir and players from the region have won International and National medals.
They have also been decorated with the prestigious 'State Award', Sher-e-Kashmir Award, and the 'Rangil Singh Award' by the Jammu and Kashmir Government—(KNO)
